Who Are We?
Our club, Vaani, comprises of five members and has a structured leadership, including a Secretary, PG Convener, and UG Conveners. We organize a variety of activities, such as Ghosti-Discussions on famous poets and writers, Open Mic sessions, Fun events, and events based on festivals. One of our most notable events is "Aazadi ke rang vaani ke sang," which is held annually on August 14th. Additionally, we are planning to start a Hindi learning program called "K-KH-G" in the near future. Our premier event, "IZHAAR," is scheduled to take place in March 2023.
What Have We Done So Far?
Our premier event, IZHAAR, is a highly anticipated event that typically attracts a large audience of around 300 people. The event features a guest speaker, such as Anu Kapoor, a well-known Bollywood actor, to discuss the various beauties of language. Our Hindi learning program, K-KH-G, is conducted with the help of teaching assistants, who guide and support participants in their language learning journey.
The membership of our club, Vaani, has been increasing significantly. This year, we have successfully organized two major events with remarkable attendance. Alongside these events, we have also conducted regular club meetings and discussions, which are attended by both regular members and a sizable audience. Our events are well received by the attendees and we are always looking for ways to improve our events and make them even more engaging and memorable.
What is our Vision?
As a club, we are constantly seeking new ways to increase enthusiasm for languages among our members and the general public. To achieve this goal, we are planning to organize a variety of events, including fun activities and movie nights, to bring people together and foster a love of language. We will also continue to hold Ghosti-Discussions and Open Mic sessions, which are popular among our members and provide opportunities for them to showcase their talents and express themselves. In addition, we are also considering expanding our team size in the future by recruiting one or two new members to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the club.
Who are we looking for, and what's in it for you?
As members of Vaani, we aim to provide opportunities for our members to develop a variety of skills, including public speaking, video editing, poster making, interacting with people, and time management. These are all valuable skills that can be useful in many different aspects of life and can help our members to become more confident, effective communicators and leaders. We strive to provide an environment where our members can grow and develop these skills and look forward to seeing our members continue to improve and achieve their goals.
